Colas Joins Parsons Brinckerhoff
Ronald Colas has been named a Vice President in the Miami office of Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global infrastructure strategic consulting, planning, engineering and program/construction management organization. In his new position, Colas will serve as the firm’s Miami Area Manager, responsible for managing operations in South Florida, the Caribbean and Latin America.
Colas has 25 years of transportation industry experience. For the past 18 years, he has successfully managed and completed a wide range of civil engineering and aviation projects, including large program management contracts with multiple task orders for such clients as the Florida Department of Transportation, Miami Dade Aviation Department, Broward County Aviation Department, Virgin Islands Port Authority, and Puerto Rico Ports Authority, as well as other municipalities within South Florida.
Colas received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and a bachelor of science in applied mathematics from St. Louis University. His professional affiliations include the Institute of Transportation Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers, International Bridge Tunnel & Turnpike Enterprise Association, U.S. Council for International Engineering Practice, Dispute Resolution Board, Florida Aviation Council and Foundation Florida Engineering Society.
