Wallace Appointed Training Manager for Atlas Copco
Versie Wallace has accepted the position of training manager for Atlas Copco. In his new role, Wallace will report directly to Jess Kindler, business line manager for Atlas Copco’s Mining & Rock Excavation Technique service division in the United States.
Most recently Wallace served as consultant to various companies in the Denver metro area. Prior to that he served as director of training for AIMCO in Denver. His experience includes managing training programs for various companies and nearly 20 years as a football coach and professor for Colorado School of Mines and Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
Wallace will be tasked with managing three critical training areas: dealer and store technician certification, operator/Master Driller Program training, and Atlas Copco’s professional development academies. These academies include separate programs for service managers, parts managers, product sales and service representatives and customer service representatives.
“Versie’s proven track record of providing exemplary operational results, his experience building corporate training programs and his team leadership background make him the ideal choice to lead our efforts to build a world-class training program for Atlas Copco in the United States,” commented Kindler.
Wallace earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. He currently resides in the Denver area.
