Aldea Services Announces New Partners
Aldea Services is continuing to expand, adding two new partners to keep up with the rising demand for the specialized services offered by the firm. Mohamed Younis and Paul Headland have been elevated to Partners in the firm, joining Bob Goodfellow and Gina Goodfellow in the ownership group. With vast international experience in underground design, construction management and risk assessment, the group has quickly become an established force in the underground industry

Paul Headland, P.E., P.G., (pheadland@aldeaservices.com) joins the Maryland operation as Vice President of Geological Services and offers over 20 years of experience in tunneling and mining. Headland is well known in the North America tunnel industry and has specialized expertise in microtunneling and trenchless design and construction as well as ground behavior and geological characterization for all types of tunnels.
Mohamed Younis, P.E., (myounis@aldeaservices.com) is Vice President, Tunnel & Geotechnical Engineering.Mohamed has over 20 years of North American and international experience in tunnel engineering management, design and consultation. Younis has managed and led the design for major tunneling projects including Dubai Metro, WSSC Bi-County Water Tunnel and Kolkata Metro.
Aldea has also added two engineers to their staff: recent Colorado School of Mines graduate Guadalupe Monge Fabian has joined the Columbus, Ohio, office; and Roozbeh Yousefzadeh, P.E., has joined as a structural engineer in the new Frederick, Md., office, along with office administrator, Leslie Sullam.
“The newly established Frederick office provides us with another solid base for operations to support our projects all over the world,” Goodfellow added.
