COWI North American Adds Tunneling Expertise

COWI North America announced the addition of two new personnel who will strengthen the company’s position as leaders in tunnel engineering in North America.
Carlos Jaramillo, P.E., has joined the Oakland office as Chief Tunnel Specialist. He has been involved in all phases of major tunnel design projects and has expertise in the application of rock mechanics as it relates to tunnel and underground design work.
Guido Castrogiovanni is COWI’s new Vice President and Project Director. He has over 20 years of experience in tunneling and geotechnical design within urban areas. He was the design tunnel manager for the Cityringen Metro in Copenhagen and has considerable expertise in designing metros around the world. He will be located in the Springfield, N.J., office of COWI North America.
