September was a milestone month for COWI North America company Jenny Engineering Corp. as it celebrated its 50th year in tunnel engineering. Over five weeks, staff looked back at JEC’s founding father, Robert Jenny, and learned about the company he built in 1965 from the ground up. Staff also shared and discussed their favorite projects and memories. Additionally, every week a catered lunch provided each of the original principals, Prakash Donde, Thomas Kwiatkowski and Stanley Niemiec, a chance to discuss and reflect on their respective careers at Jenny Engineering.
Leading up to a celebratory dinner, events and commemorative gifts dotted throughout the month of September helped staff look back and reflect on the Jenny Engineering legacy.
Scott Roux, Managing Director at JEC, remarked “I am grateful and humbled to have celebrated the last five decades of Jenny Engineering with the fine people that make this company great. I look forward to what will be built on the impressive legacy that Jenny has designed, constructed, inspected and dug deep to establish worldwide.”
