Delve Underground Appoints Mencke Regional Manager

Delve Underground announced the appointment of Andy Mencke as Regional Manager for the US Pacific Northwest Region. Based in Seattle, Mencke is a Principal Engineer who has been part of the Delve Underground team since 2007. With 20 years of experience leading detailed design and project coordination for major transit, water, and wastewater infrastructure projects, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role. As Regional Manager, he will oversee operations across the Seattle, Portland, and Bend offices.

Former Pacific Northwest Regional Manager Mark Havekost will continue his involvement in regional projects while also focusing on his role as Delve Underground’s Energy and Mining Market Lead. This will enable him to help Delve Underground further grow our contributions in this growing market, enhancing our capabilities in delivering environmentally and socially sustainable energy solutions.

Delve Underground operates three offices in the Pacific Northwest—in Seattle, Portland, and Bend—and has a longstanding history of delivering tunnel and underground engineering expertise in the region. Noteworthy projects in this area include Sound Transit’s Northgate Link and University Link, the SR 99 Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement, the Brightwater Conveyance System, and the Ship Canal Water Quality Project.
