Malcolm Drilling Standardizes on NoteVault for Daily Reporting Software
NoteVault, a provider of patented, mobile daily reporting solutions, announced that Malcolm Drilling Company Inc. has signed an enterprise agreement for the NoteVault platform and related mobile apps, and are rolling out the NoteVault software nationwide.
John Roe, Senior Corporate Vice President for Malcolm commented, “We selected NoteVault for a number of reasons, the first of which is to streamline the documentation process, not only for documenting the daily work on the project site, but also to help defend against unmerited claims. The second reason is to enable our project managers to work more efficiently by reviewing the reports daily, keeping on top of issues as they happen.”
Founded in 1962, Malcolm began with a single truck-mounted drill rig performing drill rentals and small projects. Today, Malcolm is a specialty foundation subcontractor with offices across the western United States, as well as Southeastern and Midwestern states. Malcolm’s projects include foundation works for mass transit, sports facilities, bridges, dams and commercial buildings.
“We’re really happy to have been selected by Malcolm Drilling as their default daily reporting platform. They are rolling out NoteVault to receive both the short-term and long-term benefits that our solution provides,” said John Roshala, VP of Sales for NoteVault. “In the short-term, they’re reducing the amount of time required to produce good quality daily reports, which in the long-term provides them with the documentation they need to run a profitable business.”
Malcom is currently using NoteVault in five offices and intends to roll out the solution across all of its offices. The goal is to have all superintendents generating reports real-time throughout the day that can be viewed live on their device or the next day in a .pdf format, emailed to them automatically.
