Master Builders Solutions Appoints Juan Alfonso Garcia to Lead New ‘One Americas’ Region

Master Builders Solutions, a global leader in innovative concrete admixtures and construction solutions, announced plans to create a ‘One Americas’ region with the appointment of Juan Alfonso Garcia to President of the newly formed Americas Region. Garcia, formerly President, Latin America, Master Builders Solutions, will lead the region, which includes the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. Dr. Bruce J. Christensen, formerly President of the U.S./Canada Region, will exit the organization on July 31.

By bringing together the Americas, Master Builders Solutions will create synergies across the region for an integrated customer-centric operating model in a plan to accelerate growth in the region. Master Builders Solutions has built a presence in Latin America in recent years through Juan Alfono Garcia’s leadership.

The move to a ‘One Americas’ structure will align resources to further improve the customer experience with technological expertise, product offerings and customer support shared across the region. Dr. Boris Gorella, CEO, Master Builders Solutions, said, “a ‘One Americas’ approach will allow us to tap into expertise and technologies within the broader Master Builders Solutions group and build upon our customer-focused momentum to further strengthen our position in the region.”

Garcia has led the Master Builders Solutions Latin America region and has previously held senior leadership responsibility for the U.S. and Canada admixture business, and in Europe. Gorella, said “Juan Alfonso brings deep and highly relevant leadership experience and customer focus to this expanded role and we’re very pleased to have him leading our Americas region in this next phase of growth.”

After 26 years with Master Builders Solutions, Christensen has decided to voluntarily resign from the organization to pursue a new professional opportunity. Gorella said: “Bruce has made significant contributions to the growth and success of Master Builders Solutions not only in the U.S. and Canada, but globally, and will leave a lasting mark on our organization.”
