Menard Group USA Appoints President

Frederic Masse has been appointed the new President of Menard Group USA), which includes DGI-Menard and US Wick Drain. Masse, who previously held the position of Executive Vice President, has been with the company since its launch in the United States in 2003. Prior to the launch, he was with Menard and its subsidiaries for eight years as the Executive Vice President of Sangjee Menard Co. Ltd. in South Korea and Far East Regional Manager for Menard.

He will be replacing former President, Seth Pearlman, who has been promoted to North American Regional Manager for Menard. Pearlman will remain the CEO of Menard Group USA.

“Frederic has proven to be an excellent leader in quality, safety, engineering and business systems, while building teams and camaraderie within our organization,” said Pearlman. “He’s been able to make some extraordinary achievements with our business and with our team during a period of rapid growth in the last several years.”

Masse brings over 20 years of experience to his new role, including design engineering and research and development for new soil improvement technologies. He has worked on ground improvement projects all over the world, including South Korea, Thailand, Hong Long, Taiwan, Australia, the Philippines and Poland.

“I have a tremendous opportunity to be a part of and lead our exceptional team of talented people as the company continues its growth,” said Masse. “I joined Menard right after my graduation from college, and the tremendous success we’ve had since then is a big source of pride and motivation for me. Menard and US Wick Drain’s path to success has already been laid out under Seth’s leadership, and I will ensure that we remained focused on our clients and employees.”

Masse officially stepped into his new role in early December.
