Moretrench’s Corwin to Receive Alumnus of the Year Award

Moretrench announced that President and CEO Arthur B. Corwin, P.E., is to be honored by his alma mater, Farmingdale State College, SUNY (State University of New York) as Alumnus of the Year for 2015. The presentation will be made at the annual Alumni Award Dinner to be held on March 5, 2015 at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, New York. Farmingdale State College has provided excellence in higher education for over 100 years  and is ranked in the 2015 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges survey as one of the best regional colleges in the north.

Corwin earned his associates degree from Farmingdale in 1976 and went on to graduate from Polytechnic University of New York with a B.S. in civil engineering. He joined Moretrench in 1978 as a staff engineer and has since dedicated himself to the continued growth of the company.

His 36-year career with Moretrench is one of long and distinguished service. He was elected to the board of directors in 1988 and has served in various engineering and executive capacities including chief engineer and executive vice president. Corwin was appointed president and chief operating officer in 2003 and chief executive officer in 2007, in which capacity he continues to provide the dynamic leadership that has placed Moretrench in the forefront of the industry.
