Peterson Joins Schnabel Engineering

Schnabel Engineering Inc., Glen Allen, Va., recently announced that William K. Petersen, PE, has joined the firm as a Senior Associate in the company’s West Chester, Pa., office. Petersen has over 24 years of experience in many areas of geotechnical and geological engineering.
His experience includes site investigations, design recommendations and construction monitoring for various bridge, dam, tunnel, highway, railroad, commercial and residential projects. His primary responsibilities have included project management, preparation of design drawings and specifications, geotechnical and rock mechanics analyses, geological mapping, site characterization, boring inspection, instrumentation, lab testing and construction review services. Petersen has prepared numerous geotechnical reports and provided design recommendations for structures and geotechnical projects located throughout the western and eastern United States.
