Tanner appointed Vice President for Atlas Copco Store Operations – Mining
April 17, 2013 – COMMERCE CITY, Colo. – Ed Tanner has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president for Atlas Copco Store Operations–Mining, overseeing the Elko, Tucson, Phoenix, and Denver stores. In his new role, Tanner will report directly to Torbjorn Redaelli, president and general manager–Atlas Copco Construction and Mining.
Tanner has been serving as the business line manager for Atlas Copco’s Underground Rock Excavation (URE) division for the past seven years. He also was a product line manager for URE in 2005 and has a total of 34 years of experience in the mining industry.
“Ed has worked in the mining industry since 1979,” Redaelli said. “His knowledge, leadership and past success will be a great foundation for his new position.”
In his new role Tanner will develop and improve product support, territory management, and key customer relationships for the stores.
