Tunneling & Microtunneling Track Planned for Vancouver Trenchless Technology Road Show
The Trenchless Technology Road Show, conference and exhibition devoted to trenchless education and training, is planning a Tunneling and Microtunneling track for its next event, which is scheduled for Nov. 17-19, 2015, in Vancouver, B.C. The theme of the event is “Go Green.”
The track is part of the two-day program (with pre-event courses available on Nov. 17) that addresses all aspects of trenchless technology cover the planning, design, construction and maintenance of utility networks, including new construction and rehabilitation. The November event is being held in conjunction with the North American Society for Trenchless Technology’s British Columbia Chapter (NASTT-BC) and the Centre for Advancement of Trenchless Technologies (CATT) at the University of Waterloo.
The tunneling presentations cover curved microtuneling, mechanized shaft sinking and pipe thruster technology, in addition to others. Other tracks address “Emerging Technologies” and “Going Green” in addition to tracks covering inspection and condition assessment, and pipe installation and rehabilitation.
