ITA Evaluating Nominations for 2024 Awards
The International Tunnelling Association is evaluating more than 100 nominations from 19 countries across seven categories for its 2024 ITA Awards. The ITA Awards symposium will take place Nov. 28, 2024, and includes a program of presentations and discussions with the shortlisted finalists in each Award category.
Hosted this year in Genoa, Italy, by ITA Member Nation society SIG, Società Italiana Gallerie, the ITA Awards symposium is followed by the SIG Conference on Nov. 29 and a technical site visit to the Terzo Valico dei Giovi highspeed railway project construction site on Nov. 30.
Registration for both events is now open. Being in Genoa in November provides an opportunity to engage with leaders of the major projects of the world and with senior directors of the extraordinary projects being undertaken through the European Alps including TELT, Lyon-Turin highspeed railway project between France and Italy; the Brenner Baseline highspeed railway between Austria and Italy and the Italian Terzo Valico dei Giovi highspeed railway project and other rail and highway projects in the Genoa area and throughout Italy.
