Michelle van der Pouw Kraan recently joined the Vancouver office as a Senior Staff Engineer. She recently obtained her M.A.Sc. degree in geological engineering, focusing on rock mechanics and tunneling. Her thesis topic centered on rock mass characterization tools, rock mass behavior prediction methods, and Geotechnical Baseline Reports. Prior to this, for approximately three years, she gained a variety of office and field experience on highway expansion and tunnel projects located throughout British Columbia, including developing design drawings, performing site investigations, and construction monitoring and inspection.
