Registration Open for World Tunnel Congress 2027

Registration is open for the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association’s (ITA) World Tunnel Congress 2027, scheduled for April 23-29 in Antwerp, Belgium.

The congress will bring together the international tunnelling and underground space community under the theme “Underground Creativity to Meet Societal Needs.” The early-bird registration deadline is Jan. 15, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Central European Time.

A new group registration discount is available for organizations registering five or more participants, offering reduced registration fees for teams attending the event.

The ITACET Training Course will take place April 23-24 ahead of the main congress. The two-day course will focus on co-creating knowledge across design, construction and operation, with special registration rates available for students and young members.

Technical tours are scheduled for April 29, providing opportunities to visit major infrastructure projects, including Antwerp’s Oosterweel Link. Accommodation options with negotiated rates are available through participating congress hotels.

Exhibition space is also available, although the organizing committee reports that booths are rapidly selling out. Exhibitors will have an opportunity to showcase their technologies and services to more than 3,000 international tunnelling professionals, clients and decision-makers.

For registration details, fees, training courses, technical tours and accommodations, visit the official ITA WTC2027 website.
