Shortlist Selected for 2025 ITA Awards

From 100 entries submitted, 53 from 25 countries are selected to go forward for evaluation for the ITA Tunnelling Awards of 2025.

Projects for road, rail, metro, hydro, water, and underground space developments, join entries for technical advancements, innovative engineering and young professionals as the future of the industry, are among the entries to celebrate the highest of achievements for 2025.

Review by a distinguished Panel of Judges will identify three finalists per category to arrive at the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners for each category. The finalists will present their projects at a day-long symposium hosted in collaboration with the Serbian Association for Tunnels and Underground Structures at the Southeastern European Tunnelling Conference in Belgrade and the results will be announced at a gala celebration in the evening.

The Southeastern European Tunnelling Conference will be held Oct. 1-3, 2025, with the ITA Awards being presented on Oct. 1. Registration for the early birds is now open.

Join the event in Belgrade as a conference sponsor and exhibitor and join the delegates to get to know of the industry developments in the Balkan region of Europe, a region on the cusp of major infrastructure development and European Union-supported investment for metros, road and rail networks and expansion of water and utility services. The conference program will showcase these regional projects and have project clients and decision makers on hand to explain the underground design aspects and the development milestones.
