The Beavers Announce Appointment of New Executive Director

The Beavers Inc. and The Beavers Charitable Trust have announced the appointment of Christian Anger as Executive Director. Anger brings more than a decade of association leadership serving California’s engineering and construction industries, with deep experience in membership engagement, business development, and industry advocacy. His background positions him to lead The Beavers and The Beavers Charitable Trust as they work to advance the heavy civil construction profession and invest in its future workforce.

For the past 13 years, Anger served as Director of Membership and Business Development for the American Council of Engineering Companies of California (ACEC California), collaborating with hundreds of engineering and construction firms across the state, including many active Beavers members. His dedication to, and his understanding of, the evolving needs of heavy civil construction industry will support the organization’s mission of developing the next generation of industry leaders.

I look forward to working alongside our members and trustees to expand scholarship opportunities, foster industry engagement, and build on the remarkable legacy of The Beavers.”

Following nearly 30 years of distinguished service, outgoing Executive Director Dave Woods will assume the role of Executive Director Emeritus. Woods will work closely with Anger through the transition to ensure continuity and continued momentum for the organization and the Trust.

The Beavers Inc. is a social, honorary association of individuals and companies engaged in heavy engineering construction. Since its founding in 1977, The Beavers Charitable Trust has devoted its proceeds exclusively to scholarships and university endowments that support students pursuing careers in heavy civil construction.
